LECOXEN® SPRAY
Functional irrigation

Lecoxen spray is a seawater-based medical device recommended to irrigate and remove dust and impurities from superficial acute and chronic lesions (lacerations, excoriations, puncture and crushing wounds), favouring natural wound healing, thanks to the presence of trace elements.

Thanks to the innovative supply technology, the bottle can be used in any position.

Before treating any type of wound. In first aid situations. At any change of dressing.

  • Irrigation of any kind of wounds to remove dust and dirt
  • Moisturizes and helps debridement steps
  • Reduces bacterial charge (mechanical action)
  • Eliminates bad odours from wound
  • Favours elimination of necrotic tissue of scabbed wounds.
  • Helps the first step of wound healing (hemostasis)
  • Removes any foreign bodies from the wound’s bed
  • Only a clean wound can heal properly.
  • Wound irrigation is the preferred method of wound cleansing compared to swabbing1,2.
  • Calcium is important for the haemostasis process, for the formation of granulation tissue3 and for neutrophil activation4. Moreover, it is involved in many other processes of wound healing3.
  • Zinc is a component of many enzymes, which have a central role in wound healing5. Moreover, Zinc stimulates the proliferation of keratinocytes and fibroblasts6.
  • Copper is useful for cross-linking of collagen fibres and with zinc and manganese it stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts and keratinocytes5,6.
  • Lecoxen spray is ideal in first aid
  • Lecoxen spray can be used in many occasions and safely from a microbiological point of view, until no solution remains.
  • Lecoxen spray is unique product for cleaning the wounds and favour their healing.

to be used for wound cleansing. Before applying the dressing, adjust the power of the water jet putting near or removing the nozzle until you reach the most suitable distance for doing so. Do not position the nozzle in close contact with the wound. Remove possible excess solution with sterile gauze. The treatment with Lecoxen® spray is suggested before treating the wound with other clinical protocols.

LECOXEN® CREAM
Advanced medication

Lecoxen® cream is a multifunctional advanced medication, which acts as an adjuvant in healing; it favours re-epithelialization and reduces inflammation, protecting the skin from irritation phenomena. Moreover, it allows to maintain a proper microenvironment in the surrounding skin in order to avoid tissue maceration.

EXCLUSIVE Water-in-silicone technology

Hydrates and keeps moist the microenvironment, favouring the cicatrisation.

Thanks to its innovative formula, it has a triple action on the wound for GREATER EFFECTIVENESS:

  1. ANTI-FREE RADICAL ANTIOXIDANT ACTION: thanks to the presence of Proanthocyanidin A2 derived from Aesculus Hippocastanum, of Vitamin E and of Allium Cepa with extraordinary anti-free radical properties useful to accelerate the healing process;
  2. BARRIER EFFECT against external agents. Thank to its MECHANICAL AND PROTECTIVE ACTION: silicones create an occlusive barrier, also against harmful micro-organisms, which facilitates wound healing. Moreover, they prevent the formation of keloids and hypertrophic scars more effectively than normal ointments containing zinc oxide.8
  3. OSMOTIC ACTION: thanks to the presence of sodium chloride the exudate leaks onto the skin around the wound.
  • Abrasions, grazes and sharp injuries
  • Post radiotherapy burns
  • Surgical wounds
  • Bedsores
  • Diabetic foot
  • Granulating wounds
  • 1st and 2nd degree burns
  • Adjuvant treatment during hyperbaric therapy
  • Scleroderma wounds
  • Skin at high risk of ulceration (protective action)
  • Periungual wounds
  • Fragile and sensitive skin (protective action)
